Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mechanicsville, Virginia is seeking an Activities Coordinator to develop, plan and implement monthly wellness-based programs for residents. You will lead 6-7 high-quality activities daily, coordinate with the program team, and promote resident and family engagement while maintaining organized records and transportation support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or experience; state requirements may apply.
• Entry level position with 1-3 years experience highly desired.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Flexible, consistent, imaginative and engaging; passion for working with seniors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Assist in developing, planning and implementing monthly wellness-based activities.
• Survey and interview residents to tailor activities to interests and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with program team to plan calendars, events and outings.
• Promote participation and maintain resident and family satisfaction.
