Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Engage Life Program Instructor to lead Resident engagement activities and manage a varied schedule of events. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–6 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Able to write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned Engage Life programs for residents to enhance their lives and meet activity expectations.
• Offers diverse recreational activities with adequate supervision.
• Develops programs for residents, including for those confined to rooms.
• Engages and motivates residents to participate in activities.
• Keeps residents informed of upcoming events and maintains a current schedule.
• Greets new residents and helps integrate them into community activities.
• Assists in planning parties/holiday decorations and monthly birthday celebrations.
• Supports census-building initiatives and maintains activity records as required by state law.
