Atria Senior Living in Briarcliff Manor, NY is hiring an Engage Life Program Instructor to lead immersive activities and programs for residents, ensuring meaningful engagement and healthy aging. The role focuses on planning and delivering diverse recreation, coordinating volunteers, and maintaining accurate records of participation.

The position emphasizes interaction with residents, scheduling, and collaboration with staff to create a supportive, engaging community environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Able to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs and activities for residents.
• Provide diverse recreational activities with supervision.
• Develop programs including for residents confined to rooms.
• Engage and motivate residents to participate in activities.
• Maintain event schedules and greet new residents to foster engagement.
• Assist in planning parties and community decorations according to season/holidays.
• Support Bright Beginnings and census-building initiatives.
• Maintain records of activities and participation as required by state law.
• Coordinate volunteers for activities as needed.
• May drive the company vehicle between destinations.
