Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking team members to lead Engage Life programs that enhance residents’ daily lives and promote active aging in our communities. You’ll plan and deliver diverse recreational activities, greet new residents, and help coordinate seasonal events and celebrations.

Responsibilities include developing resident programs, maintaining schedules, and supporting census initiatives, with opportunities for growth and a healthy work‑life balance in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned Engage Life programs to residents.
• Offers adequate and diversified recreational activities with supervision.
• Develops programs for residents including programs for those confined to rooms.
• Engages and motivates residents to participate in activities.
• Informs residents of upcoming activities and maintains a current events schedule.
• Greets new residents and introduces them to others with similar interests and backgrounds.
• Assists in planning parties and decorating the community for seasons/holidays.
• Supports census building initiatives and maintains activity records as required by state law.
• Assists Engage Life Director with volunteers and may drive company vehicle if required.
