Job summary

The Lodge Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, develop, and implement engaging daily activity programs for residents. You will visit residents, build relationships, and lead group and individual activities.

Collaborate with other departments, document participation, and support resident council meetings. We welcome energetic, compassionate individuals with a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in activities or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, and implementing engaging daily activity programs.
• Encourage resident participation through regular visits and relationship-building.
• Lead and facilitate group and individual activities as scheduled.
• Gather resident interests and contribute to individualized activity care plans.
• Document resident participation and progress in activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate programs and events.
• Participate in resident council meetings and provide support as needed.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for residents.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Attend required trainings and team meetings.
