Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Wichita, KS is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to develop and oversee a comprehensive program that fosters social engagement, physical and cognitive activity, creativity, and emotional well-being for residents.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will partner with residents, families and team members to reflect life stories and preferences, plan activities and events, and ensure programs promote health, purpose and joy while coordinating neighborhood

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools including Microsoft Office and electronic records systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and lead activities, programs, and events for residents.
• Assist in welcoming new residents and families to enrichment programs.
• Coordinate decorations and life-story activities for residents and families.
• Contribute to resident assessments and life-story documentation.
• Utilize Cedarhurst electronic platform for family messaging and attendance.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings and drive the community bus as needed.
• Communicate effectively with families about residents’ care and well-being.
• Collaborate with staff and management; participate in conflict resolution when needed.
