Job summary

Centraldesertbh is seeking an Activity Assistant to bring joy and engagement to our residents. You will help plan, develop, coordinate, and implement activities that support cognitive, social, and physical well-being in a caring senior environment.

Responsibilities include assisting the Activity Director, transporting and setting up supplies, and conducting one-on-one or group activities to promote progress and enjoyment for patients and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college credits preferred.
• Aptitude for, and some training in, arts and crafts is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of liability insurance required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, development, coordination, and implementation of activities for patients and residents.
• Assist with transporting, setting up for activities, and procuring materials as needed.
• Conduct one-on-one activity therapy and group activities to support progress and engagement.
