Job summary

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is hiring an Activity Assistant to engage residents in meaningful, stimulating activities that promote cognitive function, physical health, socialization, and emotional well-being. You will lead hourly programs for individuals and groups, and assist with transporting residents to activities.

As part of the team, you’ll support the Activities Director in planning and coordinating programming, staying energetic, reliable, and compassionate to residents

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must enjoy taking care of others and be a team player.
• Prefer at least one-year prior experience working with elders or in a Memory Care setting.
• Motivation to get tasks completed timely and efficiently.
• Oral and Written English Communication Skills.
• A teamwork attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly activities for individuals and groups.
• Transport and assist residents to and from activities.
