Job summary

The Film Market is seeking a Production Manager to drive the successful advancement and completion of events across Madison Square Garden venues, including Radio City Music Hall and The Beacon Theatre. The role requires coordinating with clients and all venue departments to maximize operational efficiency for concerts, comedy shows and family entertainment.

You will develop and maintain event budgets, supervise both union and non-union crews, and work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

  • 60 credit hours of college coursework preferred or equivalent certifications.
  • 5–7 years of live event production management experience supervising staff.
  • Technical knowledge of rigging, power provisions, safety protocols, and union regulations.
  • Knowledge of building codes and fire safety for large venues.
  • Experience managing both union and non-union crews.
  • Ability to develop and maintain event budgets.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Advance and complete events across MSG venues, coordinating with client and venue departments.
  • Serve as liaison to maximize operational efficiency and teamwork.
  • Generate and maintain operational budgets for assigned events.
  • Work with union and non-union labor crews and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, 24/7 live entertainment environment.
