Job summary

The Washington State Office of the Attorney General seeks a highly skilled Litigation Support Manager (LSM) (WMS Band 2) to lead electronic discovery services in the Torts Division. The role oversees litigation paralegals and supervisors, evaluates software and hardware needs, and partners with the Torts Chief and Operations Manager for budget planning.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic litigation support and discovery.
• Understanding of litigation support software/hardware needs.
• Strong planning, coordination and advisory skills.
• Supervisory experience in a legal setting is required (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with discovery rules and public records act is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises paralegals and supervisors in the division.
• Evaluates and recommends litigation support software/hardware for statewide needs.
• Provides expert consultation to attorneys, paralegals, and management on discovery plans and needed tools.
• Manages staffing for cases across four Torts locations and coordinates with budget planning.
• Ensures contracts comply with state policies and procedures.
