Job Summary
The firm seeks a highly-skilled Permanent Litigation Attorney in Washington State to handle a diverse caseload, including Tort Litigation, Employment Litigation, School Law, Civil Rights, Regulatory matters, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, and Trial.
Salary: $110,000 - $185,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation to clients, presenting facts in writing and verbally to their party, and arguing on their behalf.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
- Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
- Handle diverse caseload, including Tort Litigation, Employment Litigation, School Law, Civil Rights, Regulatory matters, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, and Trial.
- Conduct legal research and analysis of legal problems.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
- Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
- Supervise legal assistants and junior attorneys.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation.
- Active member of the Washington State Bar.
- Proven experience with Tort Litigation, Employment Litigation, School Law, Civil Rights, Regulatory matters, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, and Trial.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
