Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Litigation Specialist (Remote) to own and manage complex litigated claims involving auto and homeowners matters. You will guide defense strategy, assess settlements, and manage discovery plans while collaborating with defense counsel and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance or risk management, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• High School diploma required.
• Proficiency or ability to become proficient in handling litigated claims.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex litigated claims involving first- and third-party auto and homeowners matters.
• Shape claim strategy by providing direction to defense counsel and evaluating settlement opportunities.
• Establish settlement authority and participate in negotiations.
• Complete analysis of claims, including loss facts and applicable factors.
• Create discovery plan with depositions, IMEs, and experts for varying claim complexity.
• Collaborate with defense counsel on strategy for negotiations and mediations.
