Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a legal assistant or litigation secretary.
• In-depth knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Court Rules.
• Typing speed of 70 wpm preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Calendar court dates from case initiation through trial.
• Prepare draft court documents: complaints, answers, discovery, briefs, motions.
• Revise and finalize documents; ensure timely service, filing, and delivery.
• Prepare for trials and assist with on-site logistics.
• Confirm calendar events and handle special projects.
