ProDriven Global Brands seeks an Associate General Counsel - Litigation and Risk to lead major litigation and claims strategy, partnering with executives to align legal risk with business goals. This senior role oversees outside counsel, internal investigations, and portfolio governance, translating complex matters into practical, defensible actions while driving enterprise-wide risk awareness.

Travel typically 10-20% with a hybrid office requirement to support collaboration.

Formación

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience including substantial responsibility for complex litigation and disputes.
• Experience with litigation involving manufactured, industrial, durable, or consumer products.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategy for significant litigation, claims, and disputes involving the Company's products, operations, employees, and commercial relationships.
• Assess liability, causation, damages, litigation posture, potential outcomes, and resolution alternatives, and provide clear recommendations balancing legal exposure with financial, reputational, and business considerations.
• Direct matters from initial assessment through discovery, expert development, product examinations, motion practice, mediation, settlement, trial preparation, and appeal.
• Provide legal and strategic leadership for the Claims function and promote consistent standards for intake, investigation, documentation, evaluation, escalation, and resolution.
• Maintain visibility into the status, strategy, critical deadlines, and potential exposure of open matters; ensure evidence, records, and technical information are preserved and evaluated.
• Develop portfolio reporting and governance practices that support accountability, informed decision-making, and timely escalation of significant developments.
• Develop and reassess case evaluations and reserve recommendations; partner with Finance, Risk Management, insurers on reserve reviews and reporting.
• Select, retain, and direct outside counsel, experts, investigators, and other external resources; ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Translate litigation and claims experience into practical recommendations for product safety, compliance, documentation, corrective action, and risk prevention.
