Job summary

Cor Partners seeks an experienced in-house counsel to support four sister companies in professional liability, litigation management, and risk mitigation. You will partner with business leaders to drive litigation strategy, manage subpoenas and document productions, and oversee outside counsel to ensure consistency across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• +10 years in insurance services, claims handling, TPA or expert services.
• Experience in professional liability, defense and litigation management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee active and pending litigation and manage outside counsel and carriers.
• Prepare and defend experts for depositions and attend mediations.
• Respond to subpoenas, regulatory inquiries, and document requests while protecting privileged information.
• Provide proactive legal guidance on professional liability exposures and risk strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across business units.
