Jobot is recruiting senior litigators for a national law firm with opportunities in New York and Dallas. The Dallas practice covers premises liability, hotels, and related insurance defense, while the New York practice focuses on litigation and insurance coverage.

The role requires active state admission, 7+ years (NY) or 8+ years (Dallas) of defense litigation experience, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to supervise associates.

Qualifications

• Active admission in the state of the selected office.
• 7+ years of litigation and/or insurance coverage experience; JD with strong academic credentials.
• Dallas: 8+ years of relevant defense litigation experience, trial and arbitration experience, and demonstrated attorney supervision.
• Dallas: ability to attend meetings and court appearances in Texas.
• Strong research, writing, judgment, communication, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead litigation strategy and handle court appearances, depositions, and substantive motion practice.
• Provide responsive advice, case assessments, and updates to clients.
• New York: draft coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and DISCLAIMERS.
• Dallas: handle defense matters involving hotels or managed properties, premises liability, commercial disputes, and related insurance matters.
• Dallas: supervise attorneys and bring trial and arbitration experience to active matters.
