Job summary

RumbergerKirk is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, medical record review and summarization, and preparation for depositions and trials.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies and paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of law firm experience, preferably in litigation.
• Ability to produce accurate work product in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize case files, including obtaining, reviewing, summarizing, and maintaining key case documents.
• Support discovery efforts by drafting discovery requests and related pleadings, organizing document production, indexing records, and monitoring the collection and production of necessary records.
• Prepare, issue, and track subpoenas and records requests.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records; prepare medical chronologies and narrative summaries.
• Assist with depositions and discovery investigations, including preparing deposition summaries, exhibit indexes, and coordinating with witnesses, experts, investigators, and other interested parties.
