Jobot seeks a seasoned Litigation Paralegal in the Capital Region to own case organization and support high-stakes litigation. You will work on complex, document-intensive matters and collaborate directly with attorneys, experts, carriers, and clients in a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in law-related field.
• Experience with discovery and document management.
• Proficiency with legal software for docketing and trial prep.
• Strong knowledge of the litigation process and terminology.
• Excellent research and report-writing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation from onset through post-trial.
• Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments.
• Manage documents and organize case files; ensure documents are accessible.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents; file with court.
• Coordinate discovery process and manage requests/responses; maintain document databases.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness prep, exhibits, and binders.
• Provide litigation support during trials, including note-taking and handling exhibits.
