Jobot, a Branford, CT-based law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a team of attorneys across civil litigation and related matters.

The role handles case development, document production, discovery, deposition prep, and court filings, with an emphasis on ownership of day-to-day caseload. 5+ years of paralegal experience and strong organizational and communication skills are required; on-site position with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of law firm/paralegal experience preferred.
• Strong civil litigation experience; diverse practice areas welcome.
• Excellent organizational, writing, and client-service skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple cases.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout the full litigation lifecycle from case development to settlement or trial.
• Independently organize and maintain an active caseload across multiple attorneys.
• Draft, prepare, proofread, and organize pleadings, subpoenas, discovery materials, and other documents.
• Coordinate written discovery, document production, and collection of case-related records.
• Obtain and organize medical, employment, and other records.
• Assist with deposition preparation, exhibits, and witness coordination.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial.
• Handle and coordinate state and federal court filings.
• Maintain litigation calendars and critical deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and others.
• Work closely with multiple attorneys to identify deadlines and needs.
