Job summary

ProTrans in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Sr Paralegal to support litigation matters and assist outside counsel. The role also provides secondary contract administration support as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of paralegal experience, strong legal terminology knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. This is an on-site position at Corporate HQ in Indianapolis with standard exempt status.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years paralegal or legal support experience, corporate/contract background preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, research methodologies, and contract management.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to analyze legal documents for risk.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate across departments.
• High level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for cross-border legal coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal fact gathering with business, Risk, and other teams; maintain matter timelines, witness lists, and discovery trackers.
• Coordinate document preservation, collection, organization, and production with outside counsel; maintain logs and records.
• Assist with factual investigations and targeted document review; identify missing information and issues.
• Coordinate routine communications, deadlines, and materials with outside counsel and insurers; escalate when needed.
• Support witness interviews and deposition/hearing/trial prep; schedule, exhibits, and logistics.
