Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and document management systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize files, calendars, and expense reports.
• Schedule depositions, conferences and meetings; coordinate travel.
• Prepare and format correspondence and legal documents for high-profile matters.
• Calculate and track court filing deadlines.
• Filing documents in state and federal courts; communicate with court staff.
• Set up new clients and matters with conflict checks and engagement letters.
• Perform general research and support activities for attorneys.
