Essential responsibilities include supporting litigation attorneys, maintaining files and calendars, preparing correspondence, coordinating depositions and filings, and ensuring accurate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and document management systems.
• Excellent organizational and client service skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide general office support for litigation attorneys, maintain and organize files, calendars, and related documents.
• Set up new clients and matters, including conflict checks and engagement letters.
• Prepare and finalize basic correspondence and other documents with accuracy and on time.
• Calculate and track court and filing deadlines; manage e-filings where applicable.
• Format, proofread, and finalize pleadings and other legal documents.
• Maintain records in iManage and ensure proper filing of time-stamped documents.
• Assist with court filings in state and federal courts and coordinate with court staff.
• Perform general research and support activities for attorneys.
• Other duties as assigned.
