Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Counsel in Plano, TX, reporting to the Head of Litigation. The role oversees broad litigation matters, coordinating advocacy, strategy, and discovery across internal teams and external counsel.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of litigation experience, JD from a top law school, and bar admission in good standing in Texas. In-house experience is a plus, with a strong focus on pre-trial and trial work and complex

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant litigation experience, including 5+ years in a law firm
• JD from a top law school; bar admission in Texas
• In-house experience is a plus
• Experience in class actions, mass arbitrations, product liability, and government investigations is preferred
• Substantial pre-trial and trial experience; strong e-discovery skills

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation across product liability, consumer class actions, and commercial matters
• Coordinate discovery, prep witnesses, and respond to court and government requests
• Advise senior management on strategy, risk, and case resolution with the Head of Litigation
• Oversee outside counsel and internal investigations; ensure regulatory compliance
