Based in New York, NY, the role may involve travel to other Samsung offices in North America. The ideal candidate holds a JD, is licensed to practice law, and has 10–15 years of experience in legal/compliance within tech or consumer products.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and active license in good standing.
• Experience building and leading corporate compliance programs.
• Strong ability to develop compliance policies, training, and metrics.
• Proven capability to manage cross-functional collaboration across a large, global organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with North America businesses to identify compliance risks and design frameworks.
• Provide strategic compliance counsel to business initiatives and Legal teams.
• Lead development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Oversee compliance training, audits, and remediation efforts.
• Coordinate with Korea HQ for local initiatives and special projects.
• Lead or support internal investigations when needed.
