Vultr is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to design, administer, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure supporting a global customer base and data center operations. You will work across systems, applications, and networking layers to maintain secure, reliable environments and support platform expansion.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux systems administration experience (CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu).
• Experience with system troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python) and basic networking concepts.

Responsabilités

• Design, configure, and implement Linux system upgrades and changes to support scalability and reliability.
• Administer and maintain Linux servers and services, diagnosing complex issues.
• Serve as escalation point for Linux-related issues and determine remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations on data center deployments and readiness.
• Perform migrations, assess dependencies, and plan execution approaches.
• Monitor performance and security posture; implement corrective actions to stay compliant with standards.
• Produce documentation, diagrams, and operating standards for scalable administration.
• Work cross-functionally to align IT with platform reliability and business goals.
