Job summary

AV seeks a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to design, deploy, secure, automate, and maintain enterprise Linux server infrastructure across on‑premises and multi‑cloud environments.

The candidate will lead Canonical Landscape management for hundreds of Ubuntu endpoints, implement MFA/PAM, and harden systems to NIST SP 800‑171/CISA standards, while building IaC with Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet/Chef.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• 8–12 years IT infra experience, with at least 6+ years focused on enterprise Linux systems administration.
• Deep hands-on admin of Oracle Linux (UEK), RHEL, and Ubuntu Server/Desktop.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and maintain mission-critical Linux servers across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Architect, deploy, and administer Canonical Landscape for hundreds of Ubuntu endpoints.
• Implement and enforce MFA/PAM, including SSH login and PAM integration.
• Harden Linux to NIST SP 800-171, DISA STIG, and CIS Level 2 benchmarks; enable SELinux/AppArmor.
