Job summary

Verisk is seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to own and harden enterprise environments across on-prem and cloud, using automation to improve resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency. You will tackle complex technical challenges in large-scale systems and collaborate with a team of engineers.

The role emphasizes Automation with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Shell/Python) to maintain reliability and security for business-critical platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar.

Responsibilities

• Automate, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure using Ansible and other similar tools.
• Build, implement, and support tools and services to maintain the reliability of our infrastructure and its services.
• This consists of AWS native, open source, third party, and custom solutions.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate tasks and deploy infrastructure and applications in a consistent manner.
• Write code, scripts, and contribute to shared codebases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development, test , and production environments.
• Support user needs regarding compute and storage needs for High Performance Compute environments on prem and in the cloud.
• Participate in planned maintenance, and unplanned outages, and incident.
