Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Linux Systems Operations and Administrator to join our Networking SW group. You will provision, configure, and maintain data-center computing systems for Linux networking feature development and testing, working with servers, switches, virtualization, and remote-management interfaces.

You will diagnose issues across hardware, firmware, OS, and networks; monitor health and performance; collaborate with engineering, IT, facilities, and network teams; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in the technology industry with data-center networking exposure.
• Strong Linux host administration experience with servers, storage, virtualization, and remote-management tools.
• Ability to automate and troubleshoot Linux tasks with Python and Bash, plus AI tooling.
• Solid understanding of data-center infrastructure including racks, cabling, switches, and deployment.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain data-center Linux systems for networking feature development and testing.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across hardware, firmware, OS, and network layers.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and performance; coordinate maintenance and upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, facilities, and network teams; maintain runbooks and documentation.
