Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Linux Systems Operations and Administrator to lead the setup and maintenance of data-center Linux systems for networking feature development and testing. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance in a global context.

The role requires solid Linux expertise, data-center networking knowledge, and scripting skills in Python and Bash, with an emphasis on automation and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the technology industry, with practical familiarity with data-center networking standards and protocols.
• Solid Linux host administration capabilities, practical experience with server hardware, storage, network virtualization, and remote-management tools.
• Ability to automate and troubleshoot Linux administrative tasks using Python and Bash scripting, along with generative AI tools.
• Strong data-center infrastructure knowledge, including racks, cabling, switches, and deployment coordination.
• Strong data-center networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain data-center computing systems for Linux networking feature development and testing.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across hardware, firmware, OS, software, and containers.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance; coordinate maintenance and upgrades.
• Partner with engineering, IT, facilities, and network teams; maintain runbooks, asset records, rack layouts, cabling, and processes.
