Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team, supporting high-performance EDA compute farms. You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Linux environments across RPM-based distributions, optimized for throughput and reliability.

Responsibilities include end-to-end automation with IaC (Ansible, Terraform), building robust tooling in Python, Bash, or Go, and managing LDAP/SSSD naming services and NFS/Autofs storage to support scalable

Qualifications

8+ years of deep systems engineering experience on RPM-based Linux distributions.
Strong track record of automating multi-tier infrastructure configurations using IaC and multiple config management systems.
Deep understanding of virtualization and container internals (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, MicroVMs).
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling development.
Solid networking fundamentals (OSI, TCP, MTU, packet capture, SDN).

Responsibilities

Maintain, tune, and secure mission-critical Linux operating systems across production and non-production environments.
Lead infrastructure configuration management and CI/CD workflows using Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
Write high-quality code in Python, Bash, or Go to automate tasks and collect telemetry.
Manage Linux naming services (LDAP/SSSD) and networked storage (NFS, Autofs) for high-performance workloads.
