Job summary
CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer on the CTIO team to advance the sensor for Linux, with cross-platform plans across Windows and macOS. You will own core features, collaborate across multiple teams, and ship in an Agile environment.
The role requires deep C/C++ knowledge, strong Linux internals understanding, and a track record of delivering major features while mentoring distributed teams. Hybrid work is supported from multiple U.S. offices.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of C/C++.
- Fundamental understanding of Linux OS internals.
- Proven debugging of memory corruption, process contentions and bottlenecks.
- Experience delivering major features with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead, mentor and collaborate across distributed teams.
- Experience applying AI to improve decision-making and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sensor development teams on architecture and initiatives.
- Conceptualize and develop new product features.
- Provide guidance for cross-platform delivery (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Own features from design to delivery, with sprint demos.
- Engage with teams located in various sites.
