Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer (SDE) on the CTIO team to advance the sensor for Linux OS. You will own core features spanning file systems, memory, processes, and networking, with shared components across Windows and macOS.

The role emphasizes Agile delivery and frequent shipping. The position is hybrid, based in multiple U.S. offices with a requirement to be in the office at least 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C/C++ and Linux OS internals.
• Proven experience debugging memory corruption and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience leading features and collaborating across teams.
• Ability to mentor and coordinate a distributed team.
• Experience applying AI to improve decisions and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sensor development teams on architecture and initiatives.
• Conceptualize and develop new product features.
• Guide cross-platform delivery for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Own features from design to delivery and demo at sprint end.
