Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer (SDE) on the CTIO team to advance the Falcon Host sensor across Linux, Windows, and macOS. You’ll own core feature design and delivery from concept through release, collaborating with sensor teams and cross-functional partners to ship high-impact security software.

This role emphasizes architecture, performance, and scalable OS-level development. You’ll bring deep C/C++ expertise, OS internals knowledge, and a track record of tackling

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C/C++ and OS internals across Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.
• Experience debugging memory corruption, process contention, and performance bottlenecks.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor in a distributed team environment.
• Demonstrated collaboration with multiple teams to deliver major features and releases.
• Experience applying AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sensor development teams on architecture and strategic initiatives.
• Conceptualize and develop new product features for cross-platform delivery (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Own features through full lifecycle from design to final delivery, including sprint demos.
