Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer on the CTIO team to advance the sensor (lightweight agent) for Linux, Windows, and macOS. You will own core features, influence OS subsystems, and drive architecture across platforms.

You will lead design, refine implementation, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver high-impact security innovations using AI-driven insights. This role emphasizes distributed teamwork and Agile delivery.

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of C/C++.
Extensive understanding of Linux, Windows, or macOS internals.
Proven experience debugging memory corruption, process contention, and performance bottlenecks.
Demonstrated experience delivering major features with teams.
Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a distributed team.
Experience applying AI technologies to improve workflows and decisions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sensor development teams on architecture and strategic initiatives.
Conceptualize and develop new product features.
Lead design and implementation for cross-platform delivery (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Own features through the full lifecycle, including sprint demos.
Engage in cross-functional collaboration across locations.
