Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer 2 to own core sensor features on Windows OS platforms. You will work on the lightweight agent and contribute to cross-platform delivery across Windows, macOS, and Linux in a distributed team.

This hybrid role is based in Redmond or other U.S. offices, with in-office expectations two days per week. You will collaborate across sensor teams, design new capabilities, and drive feature delivery from design through demos each sprint.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C/C++, Windows OS Kernel, and Driver Development.
• Fundamental understanding of Windows OS internals.
• Proven experience debugging memory corruption, process contentions, and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience collaborating with teams to deliver major features and releases.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within a geographically distributed team.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all sensor development teams on architecture and strategic initiatives.
• Conceptualize and develop new product features.
• Provide guidance for cross-platform delivery (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Take ownership of features from design to delivery, including sprint demos.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration across locations.
