Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a talented engineer to research and develop detection techniques for Linux systems, then integrate them into the Falcon Sensor. You’ll work with a nimble team of Linux engineers, often sharing code with Windows and macOS sensor platforms.

Successful candidates will understand Linux kernel/user space, multi-threaded high-concurrency code, and strive for fast, reliable performance in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in reverse engineering, threat detection, malware analysis or equivalent.
• Experience designing high-quality C/C++ software with security focus.
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and OS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build detection logic used across CrowdStrike teams.
• Research techniques for malicious activity detection and analysis.
• Own features from design to delivery into production.
• Apply secure coding, testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and mentor peers.
• Respond to customer-reported issues and improve telemetry.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables.
