Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer 2 on the CTIO team to own design and development of core features for the sensor across Windows, Linux and Mac.

You’ll work on the lightweight agent that observes system activity, provides on‑box protection and telemetry, with Agile delivery and cross‑platform reuse. This hybrid role is based in our Austin, TX office (and other US/Canada locations) with at least 2 days in the office per week, requiring collaboration with distributed

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C/C++, Windows OS kernel and driver development.
• Proven debugging of memory corruption, process contentions and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams to deliver major features and releases.
• Familiarity with AI technologies to enhance decision making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sensor teams on architecture and strategic initiatives.
• Conceptualize and develop new product features.
• Guide cross-platform software delivery for Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Own features from design to delivery and present demos at sprint ends.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration across locations.
