The role requires hands-on Linux, virtualization, cloud, and automation experience, plus strong communication with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience leading a team of systems or platform engineers.
• Strong expertise in Linux, especially RHEL and SUSE.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across Linux kernel, storage, networking, and application dependencies.
• Knowledge of backup solutions like Veeam, NetBackup, or Rubrik.
• Understanding of networking protocols and security frameworks including SOX and PCI-DSS.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
