Job summary

Referment is seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer for its Platform Engineering team. This hands-on role operates across data centres, cloud environments and international offices, focusing on deep Linux engineering, kernel-level troubleshooting and scalable infrastructure.

You will design, integrate and maintain OS services, contribute to global networks and security, and implement Kubernetes, GitOps, and automation. Strong collaboration across teams and locations is essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of infrastructure engineering experience focused on design and architecture.
• Deep Linux engineering and kernel-level expertise with CLI mastery.
• Experience building platform tools and contributing to open-source (Python, Rust, Go).
• Extensive automation experience with Kubernetes and GitOps workflows.
• Strong host and network troubleshooting skills across large-scale environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global teams and locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and maintain Linux OS and infrastructure services with deep engineering focus.
• Contribute to global networks, core services, and security across on-prem and cloud.
• Improve security for massive production platforms spanning thousands of nodes.
• Implement modern platform engineering practices like Kubernetes, GitOps, automation.
• Diagnose complex host and network issues using tracing and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with colleagues across a global engineering team and partner departments.
