Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to advance infrastructure operations within the Networking Software group. Building on Linux sysadmin foundations, you will build, automate, and operate scalable platforms that support networking software development and testing.

You will lead automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment, and day-to-day operations, develop self-service tools, and mentor others while improving reliability and observability across global sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure operations.
Experience in semiconductor or hardware-focused environments with hands-on Linux and server components.
Proficiency with generative AI tools and applying them to automation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Build, provision, configure, and maintain scalable Linux infrastructure for networking feature validation (servers, switches, virtualization, containers, remote-management).
Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment, upgrades, and day-to-day operations using IaC and CM practices.
Build reusable tools and self-service capabilities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues across hardware, firmware, OS, virtualization, containers, storage, and networks.
Implement monitoring, observability, capacity management, and reliability practices.
Partner with engineering, IT, facilities, security, and network teams to define standards and runbooks, and mentor teammates.
