Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a senior DevOps engineer for its networking software teams in Santa Clara. You will own end-to-end pipelines across GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, building and evolving Kubernetes-based CI runtimes and artifact registries while integrating security gates.

You will automate hardware and simulation test environments with Ansible and Python, collaborate across time zones, and drive release readiness for Debian/RPM and container images.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, build/release, or infrastructure roles with end-to-end pipelines.
• Deep hands-on Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL): shell, debugging, package management, hosting fleets, containers with Docker.
• Strong automation in Python and Bash.
• Production track record with GitLab CI, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, including multi-stage pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions—from MR gates to nightly regressions and release packaging.
• Keep pipeline signal trustworthy, stabilize flaky lanes, and translate nightly results into actionable product work.
• Operate and evolve the build infrastructure—Kubernetes-based CI runners, registries, artifacts, caching, retention, access control.
• Integrate quality and security gates (coverage, static analysis, tests, scanning) and drive findings to closure.
• Automate provisioning of hardware- and simulation-based test environments with Ansible and Python.
• Collaborate with C++/Python developers and lab teams to unblock builds and enforce repo standards.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to DevOps workflows to reduce toil.
