NVIDIA seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure operations within the Networking Software group in Santa Clara. You will build, automate, and operate scalable Linux platforms supporting networking software development and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience in semiconductor or hardware-focused environment with bare-metal Linux and server components.
• Proficiency in generative AI tools and applying them to automation and troubleshooting.
• Strong data-center networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, provision, configure, and maintain scalable Linux infrastructure for networking feature creation and validation.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration management, deployment, upgrades, and operations.
• Build reusable tools and self-service capabilities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, firmware, OS, virtualization, and storage issues.
• Implement monitoring, observability, capacity management, and reliability practices.
• Define standards, runbooks, and scalable processes with engineering, IT, facilities, security, and network teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members in automation and troubleshooting.
