Job summary

SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe and operates the largest AI supercomputers in the world. As a SR. Software Engineer, Linux Kernel, you will design, build, and operate the lean Linux-based OS and device drivers underpinning our supercomputer network fabric.

You will collaborate with hardware teams to bring up OS and software on next-generation hardware, ensuring high reliability and exposing maximum hardware capability to the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on systems programming in C/C++.
• Strong operating systems fundamentals and networking knowledge.
• Experience with kernel or driver development.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the lean, high-reliability Linux-based operating system underpinning our supercomputer network fabric.
• Write (or rewrite) high-performance device drivers to extract the maximum physical capability from hardware.
• Manage deployment, operation, and debugging of our platform in production with rigorous root-cause analysis and observability tooling.
• Collaborate with hardware teams and external partners to design the next generation of supercomputer hardware and bring up OS/software on it.
