Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Senior System and Infrastructure Support Engineer to administer, secure, and sustain the backend infrastructure for an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution in a regulated federal IT environment.

You will perform advanced RHEL administration, patching, hardening, and service management, and collaborate with developers and operations to plan, test, and validate infrastructure changes, while maintaining incident,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years in enterprise IT operations.
• 3+ years administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux in regulated environments.
• Advanced Linux administration: patching, services, filesystems, logging, and recovery.
• Experience implementing Linux security controls and audit logging.
• Strong Bash scripting to automate health checks and data collection.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Tomcat/JEE environments.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and TLS.
• Experience using ServiceNow for incidents, changes, and documentation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Administer and sustain RHEL servers supporting IGA operations and application deployments.
• Apply secure patching, vulnerability remediation, and rollback planning with evidence.
• Maintain Linux security controls, access permissions, and audit logging.
• Develop Bash scripts to automate health checks, deployments, and maintenance tasks.
• Administer and troubleshoot Tomcat/Java web servers and JVM configurations.
• Diagnose infrastructure dependencies affecting availability and IGA operations.
• Collaborate with developers to translate requirements into infra changes and testing.
• Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and documentation in ServiceNow.
• Support ITIL-aligned processes including incident, problem, and change management.
