Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to improve authentication and access-management services across the enterprise. You will implement observability, automation, and cloud infrastructure via IaC, collaborating with identity and operations teams to strengthen service reliability.

Responsibilities include incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous service improvements for Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in identity, credential, and access-management engineering or related enterprise IT roles.
• Hands-on work with Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory and cloud identity platforms.
• Knowledge of site reliability engineering concepts and observability.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, logs, dashboards, and security-event platforms.
• Experience using Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates to define infrastructure.
• Experience with Git-based version control and code promotion across environments.
• Ability to support incident response, triage, root-cause analysis, and recovery validation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service-level indicators and health for enterprise identity services.
• Implement observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Splunk, and similar tools.
• Query and analyze identity logs to investigate failures and compliance reporting.
• Support incident response, communicate status, and engage escalation teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and document preventive actions.
• Develop automated remediation workflows and recovery actions.
• Use IaC tools to define, review, deploy, and maintain infrastructure configurations.
• Apply Git-based practices for branching, PRs, and release tagging.
• Assist with troubleshooting authentication flows and access-policy impacts.
