Job summary

Raytheon in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Integration and Test Engineer for the AN/TPY-2 program. You will lead installation, integration, and testing of radar software builds, working in a Linux environment alongside systems, hardware, and cybersecurity colleagues.

Requires a STEM BA and 5+ years, C++/Python, Jira familiarity, travel up to 25%, and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in software integration, testing, troubleshooting or administration in a Linux-based environment.
Software development and debugging using C++ and Python.
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Ability to obtain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, integration, and configuration of new radar builds and patches.
Provide advanced reach-back support to deployed AN/TPY-2 radar systems.
Troubleshoot complex software and system issues in a Linux environment.
Develop and execute detailed test plans validating new software builds.
Mentor junior engineers and oversee integration and testing activities.
Prepare technical documentation and test reports for stakeholders.
