Job summary
RTX’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center seeks a Senior System Integration & Test Engineer to advance radar capability development. You will plan, test, and troubleshoot in a Linux-based lab, collaborating across disciplines to ensure robust, reliable systems.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in STEM, proficiency in MATLAB/Python, and hands-on experience with hardware/software testing in lab environments, with a willingness to travel
Qualifications
- Requires STEM degree and at least 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, Shell, Linux/Unix.
- Experience with hardware/software testing in an engineering lab.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.
- Perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software in Linux-based environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues with guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports per program requirements.
- Support system-level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post-test analysis.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and program processes.
- Willingness to travel 5–10% domestically.
