Job summary

The role emphasizes hands-on RHEL administration, STIG remediation, and collaboration with project leadership to keep systems compliant and reliable.

The ideal candidate has extensive Linux experience, DoD compliance exposure, and strong scripting/automation skills. Remote options available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience administering RHEL 8/9 servers and patching.
• Proven ability to implement STIGs and remediation.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Documented processes and security coordination.
• Active DoD compliance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Linux system administration including installs, patches, and monitoring.
• Configure and troubleshoot RHEL 9 systems and related hardware.
• Perform backups, log reviews, and performance metrics generation.
• Apply STIGs and remediate vulnerabilities on RHEL systems.
• Develop IaC scripts using Ansible and Terraform.
• Document procedures and assist training; collaborate with teams.
