Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in Tampa is seeking a Compliance Systems Administrator (Linux/RHEL) to secure and maintain DoW-compliant Linux estates. You will patch, harden, and integrate identity services for secure access, ensuring readiness for CORA inspections.

The role emphasizes hands-on system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and evidence compilation for DoD audits, with 40 hours weekly onsite at MacDill AFB or nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of hands-on Linux administration and hardening experience.
• Experience administering and hardening Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, ACAS/Tenable reports, and remediation steps.

Responsibilities

• Remediate security findings from ACAS/Tenable/OpenSCAP by patching, configuring, and hardening RHEL systems.
• Implement and maintain DISA STIGs, CTOs, and IAVM notices for DoW compliance.
• Configure and maintain PAM/SSSD, PKI/CAC authentication, and host-based firewalls per DoW requirements.
• Develop Bash and Ansible playbooks to automate STIG compliance and audits.
• Prepare CORA-related evidence and artifacts for inspection teams.
