Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. seeks an Advanced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Linux-based applications for embedded cryptographic systems and Cross Domain Solutions. You'll work with hardware, systems, and cybersecurity teams on mission-critical programs in a hybrid setup.

Role involves Agile development, secure software practices, and innovative research contributions. Scottsdale, AZ or remote/hybrid options supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software for Linux-based platforms.
• 3+ years developing embedded Linux applications.
• Experience with secure software and Agile processes.
• Strong debugging, design, and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Linux-based applications for embedded cryptographic systems.
• Support full SDLC including requirements, design, integration, and deployment.
• Develop high-performance embedded Linux software with secure communications.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and cybersecurity teams.
• Troubleshoot complex software and embedded system issues.
• Contribute to Agile practices and continuous improvement.
